Food Really Does Matter

Have you had any experiences with nutritional therapy?

I first watched the movie FoodMatters in 2009 at the time of experiencing my own journey through breast cancer. With my training in Holistic Health I was already researching how nutrition and vitamins contribute towards activating the body’s innate natural healing mechanism. A lot of information connected to nutritional therapy for cancer and other chronic disease is controversial and it takes courage to believe in these options. This movie helped me trust and pursue what I felt intuitively was needed to build my immune system nutritionally and understand the underlying metabolic causes of dis-ease in the body.

I first watched this movie online whilst attending David Wolfe’s Longevity Now conference live event in Costa Mesa Fall 2009. After the conference and movie I started a detoxification program of therapeutic green juicing;colonics;enemas;raw and living foods.
I did have lumpectomy surgery but chose not to complete the 30 day course of radiation recommended post-surgery. Instead I created a new lifestyle, including 80% raw & living foods, superfoods, green juicing and smoothies combined with a meditation practice, ocean swimming, taking a deep dive into spirituality and learning to really embrace self-care at every level.

If you or anyone you know wants to learn more about nutritional therapy this movie may help you feel more comfortable in pursuing that option even in conjunction with conventional treatments for chronic disease.
