How easy is it to travel gluten free?

Recently I have received several requests for tips on how to travel gluten-free so decided to blog this for everyone as the gluten free lifestyle becomes more popular. You may want to be gluten-free for a specific health diagnosis or quite frankly just because most people in our world today can benefit from a gluten free lifestyle…..Gluten is the protein found in wheat, rye and barley and if like me, you experience Celiac disease symptoms then you know how powerful being gluten-free is for your health and well-being. Many health practitioners will share their pivotal life-changing moment sometimes described as an “epiphany” other’s closer to me affectionately described me as a “borne again Celiac” and groan at the mere mention of the question “Is this gluten-free!”

Traveling Gluten Free poses it’s own challenges so here are some tips to help your next trip be not only “gluten free” but also “stress free!” Feel “free” to share with anyone you know who can benefit from this information and let us know your comments, thoughts, ideas and send more questions…..it’s great to know how to support your success!

3 Ways to Successfully Travel Gluten-free

1. Plan Ahead: Research gluten free options at your destination so you know before you travel where you can safely eat gluten-free, most airlines offer gluten-free options now so make a request before travel or at check-in. Seeking out raw & living foods, vegetarian and vegan restaurants often lead you to naturally gluten-free options.
